Student Care Coordination

can be your first and central point of contact鈥痜or identifying wellness needs and determining the most appropriate resources. Student care coordinators collaborate with you to develop a success plan, share education about and facilitate connections to appropriate on- and off-campus resources, and provide accountability through supportive follow-up meetings.鈥疌omplete an and schedule an appointment or attend a Drop-In Care Coordination session to get started. University Counseling Center

Student Health Center

The serves the primary care needs of eligible students. There are no office co-pays for routine visits. Whether you are sick or injured, managing a chronic health problem or working to develop a healthier lifestyle, the SHC is here to help.听听

Satellite Services

Satellite services are offered by the Student Care Network and other offices across campus. These services provide a quick and convenient way to consult on a current concern, explore support options and establish connections with staff members.

Self-Directed Tools and Telehealth

It鈥檚 not always possible or convenient to meet with on-campus support staff. To ensure that you have support anywhere at any time, Vanderbilt provides a variety of resources to supplement SCN services.

  • Schedule a visit with a therapist virtually by visiting the鈥疢antra Hub.
  • Headspace Mindfulness App: Vanderbilt has arranged for students to have free access to Headspace鈥攁n award-winning, research-backed digital tool for mindful living. Headspace has been shown to reduce stress, improve focus and increase resilience and happiness.
  • Welltrack Connect: is a therapy database that can help students find therapy providers off-campus. Students can create a free account using their Vanderbilt email address and search providers in Nashville or another state. Students can use filters to search by insurance provider, gender identity, sexual orientation, race/ethnicity, religion, language and several other factors to find their best match. Providers can also be filtered by colleges they serve, where those listed as serving the Vanderbilt community have been invited to join by Student Care Coordination.听听听
  • To sign up, , select 鈥淪tudent鈥 and use your Vanderbilt email address to create a username and password. Agree to the Terms of Use and 鈥淪ign Up.鈥 You鈥檒l receive a confirmation email, which you鈥檒l need to follow to finish the process. Then you can search the tailored directory of providers who specialize in student mental health.
